Devos: January '24

Turning of the Year... The turning of the year came upon us again. That moment to pause and reflect. That time to change things we have left unchanged That changing of the guard, if need be... As the turning came, how did we face it? Did we welcome it as a new beginning? Did we dread it for the troubles it might bring? Did we approach with caution unsure of it? As the turning came, how are we going forward? Have we reopened our Bibles to refresh our souls? Have we found our secret place of prayer to meet with God? Have we found ourselves a place to fellowship with fellow believers? As the turning of the year has come, are we using it as a time to refocus and draw closer to God no matter what happens? Are we crying out to Jesus, for salvation, hope, and peace? Are we listening to the Spirit as it guides us through the waters? Pause and reflect. Embrace God's refreshing and restoration this year and always! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~...
